A Python app receives WhatsApp messages and sends them over TCP to TouchDesigner, which shows them on screen in real time over audio-reactive shaders. The output goes to Resolume via Spout, so there was no need to design a GUI, and the app automatically replies to whoever writes in. That same night I also ran the lights.
